Hi everyone! So long! But I'm writing again and today I'm going to talk you about my experience with blogs.

Well, before I enter to college, I never had had a blog and when our teacher purposed us this evaluation method, I considered it some freak and strange, but I saw it as a different teaching tool where we can express our opinions about things and also we can practice the language.
The experience in general was so interesting and liberating because we don't have the preassure that we have in the tests, adding that we have several tests which only show if we passed the course or not. It was at that moment that I thought the blog was a great tool for learning.

If we talk about my writing skills, I think that they have improved. When I had written in English, I always have had the difficulty that all I think in spanish, I want to write it in English and most of the time it's impossible. But when you practice usually the writing skills, you are going to summarize the ideas and translate them correctly.
If you ask me about what I would like in the future, I don't know what I say or purpose, because the method to teach us and gain the knowledge have been very good and different.

My favorites movies!

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to write about my favorites movies; I don't have much time to watch movies and try to choose some good, but I'll talk about the films I've seen a million times (and is not a joke hahaha).
The first movie that I love and never get tired of seeing and enjoying it is Shrek!😍

This scene is very funny haha

I think everyone has seen Shrek, but if someone doesn't, I'll kill her/him. Hahaha ok no, I'll describe the film. Shrek is a children's film that tells the story of an ogre who lives in a swamp and this is invaded by creatures from fairy tales, and must undertake a quest: to rescue a princess. In the film, several funny scenes, problems and love stories shown. But as is common, there is a happy ending in which Fiona and Shrek are married and love wins❤. 

In this animated movie, famous actors and actresses lent their voices to give life to the characters; they are Cameron Diaz, Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, John Lithgow, Vincent Cassel, Conrad Vernon, among other.
You may ask: how can it be your favorite movie? The main reason is that I love children's movies and another important reason is that it shows that in love, the physical is not important if not how you feel with that special person, and that you are able to do or let the person you love, in this case, Fiona left her beauty to be happy with Shrek, but as ogre.
I would love to live a love like theirs. A love that is courageous, that do not matter what others think, if you're beautiful or ugly, what matters are the feelings, although sounds clice. It is a film that you can enjoy with your family, couple or alone and totally recommend.

Another of my favorites movies is White Chicks ("¿Y dónde están las rubias?" in Spanish traduction). This film is very very funny. This movie is about two FBI agents who have failed in most of their cases, but their boss gives them a last chance. They were escorting two girls, the Wilson sisters, because they could be kidnapped. Through a series of events that are happening, they end disguised as the Wilson sisters, and must pretend to be them to find the kidnapper.

The last time I saw this movie about 30 times, because it is very funny and serves to raise the spirits and laugh a little good way. It is not a film that can be nominated for an Oscar or Cannes, but it is good to laugh a while. If you have the chance to see it, I recommend it.

My "favorite" subject in this semester

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to try to choose my "favorite" subject, because honestly most of them are not my total satisfaction and failing that, I will tell you what I like about some of them.

In Chemistry, what I like most are the laboratories, because I can learn otherwise and no passing subject-matter for three hours. I love to experience and understand whole matter, but what happens in real life. 

In "Orientación a la Medicina Veterinaria", at the beginning, I had the idea that they'll inspire and motivate us because the first year is only theory and monotonous, but the reality is that they teach us about animal production, and minimum about "motivation". 

I enjoyed two classes in which teachers showed their passion and dedication in what they did and the others were interesting and some other really made to meet. 

It sounds a little "salamero", but the subject that always I loved it from school is English; so much so that in a moment of my life I thought to study translation. When I'm in English classes, I enjoy so much and feel the time fly. I love speak in English, although once a friend told me that when I spoke in English, I sounded like a porn actress hahaha (I can never forget that comment ahahha). I have had much contact with the English and thank God my parents have encouraged me to learn it well, and I expect the same.

My favorite veterinarian website

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to show you my favorite website related to my career: Soy Veterinario. This web page has no link itself, because it is on Facebook. Well, I'm going to describe this great website and I'll give you the link where you can find it.









The page was created on August 17th, 2014 and nowadays it has 363456 followers on Facebook; its mission is to promote the importance of Veterinary Science and Zootechnics in human life. In simple words, is a page that shares information about Veterinary Science and its importance in many areas.

As I said, this page is on Facebook and therefore has no sections; failing that, I'll talk you about what they share on the platform.




They are constantly sharing information about diseases and their treatments, pictures and videos of operations, they upload very good and famous books related with the career, and the most important, they teach people what it means to be Veterinarian, it is one of the reasons why I love this website. Another reason why I love it, is "memes" that they create: they're created with themes of career as diseases, pathologies or what people think who we are or what we do. I cannot say how often I visit this website, because it's on Facebook, constantly I'm seeing what they have published. 

I will never forget one of the phrases that they have shared: "Be a vet is bring to instincts. Lose the fears. It's win friends of fur and feather who will never disappoint you. It's empathy, humbleness and work".

The future of my career!

Hello everybody! Today I'm going to write about the future of my career (in my case Veterinay Science._. haha). It's so difficult to me talk about my future as a veterinarian because I don't know what might happen in the future, specially when I'm in the first semester but I will try to explain how I see myself in the future of this career or I hope that.

Like any college student, when I graduate, I'm going to study for a master and doctorate, in which area, I don't know yet, but I hope to know with the time; but the only thing I know for sure is that I would to do it abroad, to live and learn other realities.


Well, when I joined this programme, I thought that I didn't feel like working indoors but I wanted to work with small animals (cats and dogs), but if you think that, I'm going to work indoor, and it was here when I considered other specialities of my career.



One of my biggest options to work is at Escuela de Caballería de Carabineros or Escuela de Adiestramiento Canino de Carabineros, because my brother told me many good things about to work in that institution, not only for money, but for the guarantees and benefits and the most important, I won't work indoor.

And I created in my mind another option: I have contact with many firefighters, and I thought introducing dogs to support their work.

But another thing that I really like to do in the future as a veterinarian, is to help the neglected animals and I hope to do all these things❤.

My favorites pictures and their stories!

Hi everyone! Today I want to talk you about my favorites pictures and their stories.

My first favorite photo is this and it was taken in Bariloche, Argentina on 2014, in a famous lookout of that place. My classmates and me went to this province of Argentina for our study trip and it was an amazing experience to all of us.

The trip was an opportunity to join more as a course; for me, was to create more friendships with classmates who almost I said "hello". 

The picture was taken by my friend Luna: she is one of the best friends that I made on the excursion.

It is also one of my favorites because it was the first time I left my country and my parents gave me permission (even if anyone believed it, hahaha).

Another of my favorites is this. It's a selfie with my niece who I adore her and love her with all my heart. It was taken by me and I love it, because she smiles and she poses like a model❤.

The story of my pet❤!

Well! Today I'm going to talk about my pet: he is Nino❤.
Nino is a cat and he was born on September, 19th 2009 with his sister, and we gave her to my aunt because we couldn't have her. He was one of the most beautiful cat because he was a blonde cat, and we want a blonde cat hahaha.

It's Garfield haha.

In his childhood, he was a playful cat, bitten our foods, played with balls and other things, but when he was opereted: HE CHANGED!
Nowadays, it's a slow and obesed cat! My family and me think that he is like Garfield, and it's true, but our Nino is unique and special, why? I will talk about his particular features and actions that you will laugh.
He is allergic to spring. Do you think: WHAT? Yes, he is allergic, and on spring, he sneezed all day.
He is considered "obesed" and it's prone to have diabetes. Yes! It's a case of cat.




On winter, it's like a heater. Every morning, he comes to my bed and give me heat, but it's very heavy that I can't move.
For all these things, I love him with my heart and soul! He changed my life when he came to with us, and I can never fortet him:c❤  

I can't live without my cellphone!

My favorite piece of technology is my phone although, recently I changed it. I had my old phone for three years and it was a time to change it, but it'll always in my heart and memories because it helped me in many things when I needed it.

Well, phone is one of my favorite tech gadgets because I can use it where I want: it's more portable and easier to carry anywhere.
I use my phone for many differents things: to look for places where I have to go, to study, to take photos or videos, to listen music, to send messages or make calls, to watch series or movies and, a couple of years I've been paying bills online with it.




I have to confess that the majority of day I'm using my phone, but in class, when I have lunch/breakfast, or when I'm spending time with my family, friends or people in general, I avoid to use it.

If I didn't have my phone, I would lose the reason!!! Haha, ok no, but my life would be very difficult and lose much time, because phone helps to make procedures or inquiries in less time than if I went to Bank or other place.

Why did I choose Veterinary Science?

Hi everyone! In this post I want to show you my reasons, problems and motivations that I had, when I decided to study Veterinary Science.

When I was a little girl, I loved animals with madness and I thought: I'll be doctor of animals. But when I grew up, my interests changed it for different reasons; at a time of my life, I wanted to study many and differents careers, like Architectura, Business Engineering, Nutrition, Veterinary Science and incredibly, in "cuarto medio", I applied to Escuela de Investigaciones (PDI) and I was selected, but I didn't join. I thought Vet in the last, because I didn't feel able to study that, and people around me told me: you won't earn a lot of money, you won't have a job because there are many Vets, Veterinary Science means poverty. Because of that, I disappeared the idea to study Veterinary for a long time.

When I was selected at PDI, I broke up with my boyfriend and many things in my life changed. I stayed with my cats and my dog all the time when I was in home; they stroked me, I played with them and they made me laugh; they stayed with me when I needed. In that moment, born in me the courage and the strength to do what I want: I would study Veterinary Science and I hope to be the best.

A little of my life!



Hi everyone! My name is Cecilia Seisdedos Meza, if you think: Seisdedos? Really? Yeah, this is my surname. Well, I'm 18 years old, I was born in Chile and actually, my family and me are living in La Florida, Santiago.

My beauty niece, Flo❤

In my family, we're five: my dad Ramón, my mom Erika, my brother Nicolás, my sister Pilar and me. Although, I feel are six with my niece Florencia. She is the sweetest baby in the world, and she changed my life completely when she was born.
My dad is a truck driver and he has its own truck; my mom is taking care of patients, specifically elderly. My brother is studying at Escuela de Oficiales de Carabineros and my sister is a nurse and especial mom.

I studied at Colegio San Francisco de Asís from 2004 to 2015, and it was an experience with many wonderful moments and others, some difficults.
One of these worderful moments at the school, was when my classmates and me went to Bariloche. It was an incredible, funny and exciting experience. I remembered these moments and now is when you value those friendships whom every morning you greeted them, joked in class, made fools of themselves in activities, and the most importante: the family that was created.

I love cats with all my heart and it's for that one of my hobbies is play with tehm and stroke them. The favorite family cat is Nino; is the a cat that will be hard to replace or let him go to heaven.
